  16. What I do is use a C program that I have to extract them from .D64 or .T64
  17. files and then I use a program package called 1541-DOS.  It allows me to
  18. read and write 180K MS-DOS disks on a modified 1541 drive.  It is a little
  19. bit slow, but that is because it was compiled in C on the 64.  The authors
  20. of the individual components did a pretty good job though, and the author
  21. has told me that there will be a faster version out soon (hopefully soon to
  22. nbe followed up by my version, which will be in Assembly Language and fly
  23. like the wind).

  25. If I remember correctly, you can get this software from ftp.funet.fi in the
  26. transfer/pc-1541 directory (but then again, I haven't been there for a
  27. while).
