- What I do is use a C program that I have to extract them from .D64 or .T64
- files and then I use a program package called 1541-DOS. It allows me to
- read and write 180K MS-DOS disks on a modified 1541 drive. It is a little
- bit slow, but that is because it was compiled in C on the 64. The authors
- of the individual components did a pretty good job though, and the author
- has told me that there will be a faster version out soon (hopefully soon to
- nbe followed up by my version, which will be in Assembly Language and fly
- like the wind).

- If I remember correctly, you can get this software from ftp.funet.fi in the
- transfer/pc-1541 directory (but then again, I haven't been there for a
- while).
